Inside Amazon’s workplace
Take a walk with us as we explore Amazon’s vast Singapore office, which is spread across three floors and 100,000 square feet of corporate real estate. You’ll be struck by the abundance of space and the high-quality facilities for staff, including 50 breakout areas, five big meeting rooms and multiple recreational areas, complete with bean bag corners, foosball, billiards, wall-mounted games and mini cafés.
The Amazon experience hits you as soon as enter the building, with Amazon branding and colours emblazoned across the reception’s brightly lit walls. And along the corridors, bold graphics tell the story of Amazon’s leadership principles and history, while blending with local flavours and a distinctly Singaporean vibe.
As we explore, you’ll also see how the whole office is built around choice, with collaboration hubs and booths scattered across the floorplate so staff can choose where and how they work. Here and there, you’ll find vibrant and motivational infographics adorning the walls – a nod to conscientious endeavour and focus. But overall, you come away with the feeling that this is a fun and flexible place to work, designed with staff comfort and convenience in mind.
