Inside Booking.com’s workplace
Take a look inside Booking.com’s vast Amsterdam headquarters, a 700,000 sq ft workplace designed around the company’s global travel identity. At more than five times the size of Trafalgar Square, the campus brings thousands of employees together under one roof, with three restaurants, hundreds of plants and an impressive 15-metre-high atrium at its heart.
As you explore the workplace, you’ll find 28 themed ‘micro-destinations’ inspired by locations around the world, from Rio de Janeiro to New York City. Designed as spaces for connection, collaboration and informal working, each destination has its own character and gives different parts of the office a distinct sense of place.
Creating a workplace of this scale required a major collaborative effort. HofmanDujardin, i29, Linehouse, Studio Modijefsky, CBRE Design Collective and UNStudio were among the design teams involved, helping turn Booking.com’s travel roots into a varied workplace experience.
